When you take up the phone, you first realize that the brilliant back is catching your eyes. The gradients of color change as the phone moves and look fantastic in the direct light. It’s enough to say that Honor 10 Lite looks much better than competing systems such as Redmi Note 6. The key highlights are related to its 6.21-inches display, HiSilicon Kirin 710 Chipset, up to 6GB of RAM, up to 128GB of storage and Android Pie 9.0 OS. Honor 10 Lite Release Date and Pricing:
As Honor 10 Lite release date UK was back in November 2018, which obviously means it’s available on shelves across the country and one can get his/her hands with immediate effects. Either it’s available in Australia and the US or not, we hare short on words on. Mentioning Honor 10 Lite Price UK, it costs £199 (approx. $255/AU$360) which weakens the bigger Honor 8X as well as Nokia 7.1. However, with solid specifications on paper, it looks an excellent phone. What do you say?
Honor 10 Lite Specifications:
Honor 10 Lite Design:
The front has a waterdrop notch and a gradient finish on the back. It comes in a Sky Blue colour while a Black and Black Midnight option is also available for those that prefer less flashy phones. While all colour designs have appealing glossy back panels, it is difficult to know how the back of the 10 Lite is more plastic than the 9 Lite and 9N.
This feeling also adds to the use of a plastic frame. The 10 Lite also be more likely to get fingerprints and smudges across the back. The protection of the front glass does not exist either, which puts it at a greater danger of scratching.
Honor 10 Lite Display:
With a full HD+ resolution, 19.5:9 aspect ratio and 91% screen-to-body ratio, the Honor 10 Lite features a 6.21-inch LCD screen. It is hard to highlight any shortcomings with the inexpensive nature of this phone. Two display modes are available, namely Normal and Vivid. The previous one enables a more precise colour, but seems to decrease the brightness somewhat. Most consumers will probably remain in Vivid mode, which provides a cooler, brighter, and more punchy general tone. The smartphone also offers greater granular control over the tone of the screen by using a color wheel. Eye comfort mode is also available to decrease eye strain.
Honor 10 Lite Camera:
In recent years, the imaging skills of mid-size smartphones have gone a long way. The overall output of the Honor 10 Lite is also much higher in this department. The phone comes with a rear camera of 13MP + 2MP and a 24MP selfie shooter which is placed in the front. Both the front and back cameras can capture excellent information with a precise colour when the ambient light is sufficient. It is, however, only true when AI mode is disabled as this enables oversaturated images to be generated. Then again, images snapped in AI mode are activated in many circumstances to look quite attractive.
Honor 10 Lite Performance:
As with all other budget smartphones, the Honor 10 Lite hardware makes the highest cuts to keep the price down. You have a Kirin 710 CPU and either 3, 4 or 6GB RAM – depending on the model. Performance is sniffy, but according to certain sources, it takes a lot longer to load applications and games, and you even have to wait for a second or two for the keyboard to have appeared. 64GB of on-board memory is loaded on the budget phone, and if you are running low, you can always add extra. Instead of Huawei’s own proprietary NanoMemory format, Honor has sensibly chosen microSD which typically costs twice the price of the same capability.
Honor 10 Lite Battery:
With its battery of 3400mAh, the Honor 10 Lite provides an awesome battery life that is remarkably long. On average, with 34 hours of standby, you can get around 7 hours of on-screen time. It requires approximately 2 hours to charge the phone completely thanks to the 10w charger. Read Honor 10 Lite Review from ExpertReviews
