Check if you have turned on Bluetooth.

Check if your Bluetooth Audio device has enough Battery.

Some Bluetooth devices will start to misbehave if it is running low on Battery. Some devices may limit their activities in low Battery, resulting in audio lag or connectivity issues. Try charging it to 100% and check again to see if everything is working fine.

Update the Bluetooth Drivers of your PC

Update Windows

To check if your Windows 10 laptop is on the latest update: You can use the link provided by Microsoft to check for Windows updates. Click on the link, and you will be redirected to the updates page. Step 2: On the settings page, click on Windows Update. Step 5: After updating your device, restart and see if it can maintain a stable connection with the Bluetooth device. After updating your PC to the latest version, check if you still have the issue. Turn off Flight mode.

If the Airplane mode is turned on, on your Windows 10 PC, it will block all the wireless communications, including wifi, Bluetooth, GPS, and NFC. If Flight mode is on, users would be unable to connect their Bluetooth devices with the PC. You can check if Flight mode is on or off by these steps: Step 1: Click on the Network icon. Step 2: When the new menu opens, if the Airplane mode tile is blue, it means that it is on. To turn off the Airplane mode, click on the tile, and it will turn off the airplane mode in Windows 10. Check if the Audio is Playing through the Bluetooth device.

While Windows will automatically change the source after connecting a new device, sometimes, we have to adjust it manually. To make sure the audio is coming through your Bluetooth device: Step 1: Click on Start and click on the Gear icon to open settings. Step 2: On the Settings page, click on the system. Step 3: Then, click on Sound. Step 4: Select the output source from the drop-down dox to the Bluetooth audio device. After selecting the Bluetooth audio source, check again if you can hear audio from the Bluetooth audio device.

Run Bluetooth Troubleshooter

If none of the above methods helped you fix the audio issue with Bluetooth devices, try running the Bluetooth troubleshoot. We have mentioned below the steps to use the Windows 10 Bluetooth troubleshooter: Step 1: Click on Search and type Find and fix problems with Bluetooth devices and then open it. Step 2: A new window for Bluetooth Troubleshoot will open up. Click on Next to continue. Step 3: The system will then try to detect the problems. Wait for it to complete the checks. For that: Step 1: Type Feedback Hub on the search bar and open the app. Step 2: After opening the app, mention all the issues that occurred to you while using Bluetooth and include the details such as what you were doing when the problem started. Check if the HDMI and USB connections are made properly.

We have mentioned some common steps you need to take to prevent any connectivity issues between the Windows PC and the Wireless Display.

Ensure you have correctly connected the HDMI on each end (one on PC and one on display). Check if your device has Miracast support.

With Miracast, users can cast content from one source to external displays. If your Windows 10 PC doesn’t come with Miracast support, you won’t be able to connect wireless displays with the PC. Turn on wifi

You need to turn on wifi to connect your device to a network to make the casting work properly. To turn on wifi in Windows 10: Step 1: Click on the network button (usually appears as a globe icon). Step 2: Check if the wifi tile is blue when the menu opens. If it’s not, click on it to turn on wifi. Now try connecting the display to your Windows PC and see if you can cast the screen to it.
